L2Mars is a Lineage 2 server on the Essence chronicle with an x3 experience multiplier. The server opened on 13 February and is running. This is launch number 3 of this world that we know of. The full launch history is further down the page. The launch was preceded by a wipe: last season's progress was reset and everyone starts over.
x3 is a low multiplier: levelling takes weeks, the economy and crafting carry weight, and the server is built for a long game. Essence is a separate modern branch of the game with reworked levelling, so its multipliers are not directly comparable to the classic chronicles. Declared features: PvP, Multiprof. The announcement is confirmed by 6 independent listing sites — that counts towards the server rating.
