About the project
l2sonar collects Lineage 2 server launch announcements from public announcement sites and puts them in one list: chronicle, rates, launch date, status. Nothing here is our own announcement — every date has a source.
What is in the base
4,794 launches across 1,901 worlds and 791 projects, gathered from 89 announcement sites. Plus 32,341 item pages from the game's own data files.
A project is a brand: one card per project, even when the brand runs several worlds with different rates. A world is a specific server — chronicle, rates, platform. A launch is one opening of that world: projects reopen, and every reopening is a separate record with its own date.
Where the dates come from
Only from public pages of announcement sites. The crawler runs once a day at 04:10 Moscow time and re-reads every source it knows. A launch found on ten sites is one record and ten source references — that merge is the whole point of the aggregator, and no single source has it.
We do not phone server owners, do not take paid placements for a date and do not invent dates ourselves. If a date is wrong on the announcement site, it is wrong here too — and that is what the contact form is for.
What we do not publish
Domains that stopped answering leave the catalogue. So do sites that turn out not to be Lineage 2 servers, forums and other announcement aggregators: this is a list of servers, not a list of lists.
A project does not disappear from one silent night. A domain leaves only after several failed checks in a row — one network glitch should not erase a project with thirty launches behind it.
What we do not know
Announced dates move. That is a property of the niche, not a defect of the collector: a project that promised the 10th and opened on the 17th is normal. The launch history on every card exists precisely so that you can see how often this particular project moves its dates.
Rates are shown as the source published them. Where a project discloses only the experience multiplier, only it is shown — we do not fill the rest in by guesswork.
Online player counts are our own measurement, not a number reported by the project.
Corrections and removal
Wrong date, wrong chronicle, a card for a project that no longer exists — write through the contact form or to [email protected]. Owners asking to remove a card get it removed: publication is a flag, and the card leaves the catalogue, the sitemap and the search on the next revalidation.
